Behringer DI100 Ultra-DI Box

A Direct Injection (DI) box is used to convert 1/4" jack outputs from a guitar or keyboard to balanced 3-pin XLR for sending to the input of a mixing desk using a standard microphone cable. 1/4" guitar leads are only good for a few metres at most before hum becomes a problem but once converted to XLR the signal can be carried 100m or more (such as a multicore snake) without any degradation. Tip:  experienced audio engineers know that speaker height is the key to improved audience coverage for larger events.
